After a full day of sessions that day, I clicked until my camera couldn't take it anymore. But what a way to end an already perfect day. Atwood Hill Winery is a photographer's dream. Wide open spaces and rustic charm everywhere, I just can't get enough of this place
I don't know that I have ever had so much fun photographing a wedding before...Almost makes me wonder why I stopped. Michelle was stunning and sooo easy to photograph. She just fell into any pose I guided her into. And the entire wedding seemed so at ease that I didn't have to tell them to have fun. By the end of the night...my cheeks were hurting from laughing so much :)
There's nothing better than a friend of friend who turns into a client...and that client turns to a friend. I first met Kelly when she hired me to do her son's newborn photos(gaaaah it seems like it was just yesterday!) and we've been doing photos every year since. She's one of these people that you can just talk to comfortably, and I firmly believe that if you needed her, she would be the first one to offer her help. And her daughter has that same charm. She's seems shy but confident at the same time.
The very first time I photographed this family was when little Elyse was just a few days old. It was one of my very first holiday mini sessions..and even before this blog existed. Then last year, I had the honor of photographing them again and to this day, it is still one of my favorite sessions. Back then, I didn't think it was possible that a more perfect family existed...and then I met the rest of them. It was then that I realized that they are ALL perfect. It's just not right :)
One with perfect curls and the other with rosy red cheeks, I couldn't resist them. They ran and ran...and ran some more. But I didn't mind. I have 2 just like them of my own. I knew I would be burning some calories that day :)
I'm pretty sure that getting up early on a Saturday morning to do photos for a Senior in high school is the LAST thing they would want to do. But he was a trooper about it. Although we decided on the early time due to my lack of availability, I wish more people would schedule that early. The light is just magical. I think I prefer it to the sunset.
I'm pretty sure Landon's first word was Taylor. And I wasn't a bit surprised because she has been carrying him around on her itty bitty hip like a baby doll since he was born over 2 years ago. And when Calvin was born, little Alyssa put her claim on him immediately. Taylor got to have her very own baby...so this one was hers :) Till this day, i can still hear Alyssa spelling her name when she first learned how "A-L-Y-Eh-Eh-A" It was the cutest thing we had ever heard :)
I'm a mom and a wife who loves to play with a camera...how can life be any better?
