These two babies....I have no words. Last time I did their photos for their first birthday, Landon was the smiley one. And Lilly was the one that made me work. This time...total opposite. But little did they know, he had a nasty ear infections! I felt so bad that I was screaming in his face for an hour straight! But even though he was feeling like poo, I was still able to sneak a few smiles out of him. And thanks to daddy for running back and forth behind me dragging the wagon :)
It's been a really long time since I've done photos for the baby Surbs. By far...the easiest session we've done. They are growing up waaay too fast!
How awesome it must be to be part of such a big family! I had so much fun watching these boys..and baby girl ...playing together. And it was my first time photographing at Smale park!
Believe it or not...before every session, I get super nervous. Whether I know you or not. I'm a bundle of nerves. I even pull over at least once on the way just to make sure I have my camera (until my husband suggested I put my camera on the front seat so I can see it at all time :). I especially get nervous when I'm meeting a new client for the first time. I am often awkward and laugh waaaay too loud for normal ears.
But this family...made me comfortable right away. They were excited to be photographed....all together. And it definitely shows!

Sometimes...when you meet someone for the first time..you know immediately. You know that they were meant to come into your life. My husband will even tell you. We couldn't imagine our lives without knowing this family. Good thing they live just down the street from us...so we can see them whenever we want :)

Even though I am a retired wedding photographer :) I made a few exceptions next month. And can you blame me? When Liz and Payton contacted me about doing their wedding in November, I couldn't resist. 1. Liz is my good friend JR's sister who I also photographed his wedding and 2. They are one hot couple!
I literally fell in love with these girls immediately....from their blond hair to blue eyes....they were so excited to have their photos taken, I couldn't resist being excited right with them!
Isn't she a beauty?!
I love it when Seniors are super excited about their Senior pics and come prepared with awesome ideas and props!
I'm a mom and a wife who loves to play with a camera...how can life be any better?
